A warm welcome to all our friends and visitors. This page is dedicated to me and mine, otherwise known as Shirley and Michael. We just love steam engines, so I thought
this web set was really nice.
Spring 2003
So far this year we have visited the Laughton Spring Cuckoo Fayre, a place we adore, we just love the atmosphere and the great people who work so hard to get the thing
altogether, especially Jeff and Tina. We have made many new friends. It's beautiful to wake up to the smell of the steam engines. This year we were very lucky with the
weather, we only had one really huge shower, which did cause a few problems of flooding, but afterwards it was great. So those of you who decided to go home,
you missed a great day!
The entertainment in the evening was "Sparkling Champagne", we had seen them last year and as always they were excellent, following them was "Mercury" a tribute band
to Freddie Mercury's band Queen. We did not like this band much, we would of liked to hear more of Freddie's last music, some of his best he ever wrote.
We are busy at the moment planning our wedding, which will take place in the Autumn of 2003. We shall be going to Laughton Fayre in early September 2003.
